Sec.13.03 RIGHTS OF SUB.TECTS OF D�Ta Subd. 1. Type of data. The righc�of individua]on whom the data is stn:�3 or to be stored shall be as set forth in this secaon. Subd.2. Access to data by indi�-idual. Upon requesc to a r_s�onsible aechoriry,an individual shall be informed whether he is the subject of stored data on individuals,and wherhe�it is class'ificd as public,privac�or conftdecaal. Upan his furcher requesc,aa individual who is the subjecc of scoro�i private or pubtic data on individuais shall be shown the dard wi�out any c'narge to him and,-if he desires,shall be informed of[he coatenc and meaning of[hat data. After an indiiiduai has been shown che priva;�rac�and ic:ormed of ics meaning,che dara need not be disclosed to him fo� six monchs ehaeaiter unless a dispute or acdon pursuant to chis secdon is�alding or addiaonal data on the individual has been coltect�d or creaced. The responsible au�horiry shall provide copies of the privace or public dac�a:on reqna:by�he individual subject of che daca. The responsibie au[horiry may require che«quesdng person to pay the acnial coscs of makinz,ce,=:;ing,and compiling the copies. The responsible authoriry shall comply immedia�ely,if possible,wich any r_quesc made punuant to this subdivision,or wichin five days of the date of che request,excluding Samrdays,Sundays and legai holidays,ii irr.mediac-compliance is not possible. If he cannot comply with the request within thac dme,he shall so inform che individual,and may have an addicer.al five days wichin which to compiy wich the request,excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. The responsible auchoriry shall within 30 days either: (a)correct the data icund to be inaccurate or incomplece and aaempt to nodfy past recipiencs of inaccurace or incomplcte data, including recipients named by che individ�l;or(b)eo¢fy the individual thac he believes the dara to be coaecG Data in dispuce shsll be disdosed only if the individual's sra�ement of disagree�enc is L.c:aded with ehe disclosed dara.
