. Sec.13.0�i RIGFiTS OF SUBJECTS OF DaTa ' Subd. 1. Type of data. The righcs of individual on whom the data is sto:e3 or to be scered shall be as set forth in this secaon. Subd.2. Information reqinred to be givea indiridual. 'Ihe commissioner of re�enue mav place the norice reauired crd-r�his subdivision in che individual income tax or orooem tax refund ins�ructions inscead of on�hose forms. Subd.3. Access to data by indi�-idual. Upon request to a reswosible aechoriry,an individual shall be informed whether he is[he subject of stored data on individuals,and whecher it is classified as public,privac�or confidecBal. Upon his further requesc,an individual who is the subjecc of scorc,i privace or public dara on individuals shall be shown ehe dara wia.out any c'n3rge to him and,-if he dasires,shall be informed of the content and meaning of chat data. After an individuai has been shown the priva��zn and i�:ormed of i�s meaaing,che data need not be disclosed to him for six monchs chereaicec unless a dispute or acaon pursuanc to this secaon is�elding or addiaonal data on the individual has been collected or crea�ed. The responsible auchoriry shall provide copies of the private or public dac�e:on reqnos:by che ir.dividual subject of[he da[a. The zesponsible authoriry may require ehe aquesdng persan to pay che actual cosu of makine,ce._::ing,ar.d compiling the copies. 'Ihe responsible auchoriry shall comply immedia�ely,if possib[e,wieh any r_quesc made pursuant to ehis subdivision,or wichin five days of the date of[he cequesc,excluding Saturdays,Sundays and legal holidays,if is.mediace compliance is not possibte. If he cannot comply with the request within[hat rime,he shail so inform che individual,and may have an addi�e;al five days wiet►in which to comply wi�h tha request,excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or complete. :�n indivitual may cor.Gsc the accuracy or completeness of public or pri�ate dara conceming himself. To exercise rhis riehc,an individuai shall noafy ia wridn��s responsble authoriry describing�he nacure of the disagreemenc. The responsible authoriry shall wichin 30 days eicher: (a)correct che da�icund to be inaccuLacq or incomplece and aaempc to nodfy past recipienrs of inaccurate or incomplete data,including recipiencc named by che individ�t:or(b)�odfy tho individual thac he batieves the data to be coaecc. Da�a in dispuce shall be disclosed only if the individual's stacemenc of disagre=�enc is L.c:aded with�e disclased data. The decerminarion of the responsible auehoriry may ba appea:a3 pursuaac to che provisions of[he adminisuarive procedure act reladng to contested cases. .
