Sec.13.04 RIGFTfS OF SUB,TEC1'S OF DATA Subd. 1. Type o[data. T6e rights of individuai on whom the data is stored or to be swred s6all be as set forth in this section. Subd.2. S�►bd•3• Acc�c to data by individual, Upon request to a responsible authoriry,an individual shall be informed whether he is the subject of swred dara on individuals,and w6ether it is cL�ssiSed as p�blic,pm,ate or confidenGal. Upon his fu�dser request, an individual who is the subject of stored privare or�wblic data on individuals shall be shown the data without any charge to him and, if he desins, shall be informed of the content and meaning of that data. After an individual has been shown the private data and informed of its meaning, the data need not be disclosed to him for six moaths the�eaRer unless a dispuoe or action pursuanc W this section is pending or addi�onai data on the individual has been collected or creaced. The responsible authoriry sha11 provide copies of the private or public data upon nquest by the individual subject of the data. The nsponsible authoriry may roquire the roquesting person to pay the acmal costs of malcing,certifying,and compiling the copies. 7be cesponsible authoriry shall comply immediately. if possible,with any tequest made pursuant to this subdivision,or within five days of the date of the cequest,excluding Saw�days��ays and legal holidays, if immediate comp(iance is aot possible. DATA PRIVACY ADVISORY In accordance with M.S. 13.04, Subd. 2, "Rights of subjects of data", we would like to inform you that your request for a permit or license from the City of Orono or any of its departments may require you to fumish certain private or confidential information.
