� � REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, OCTOBER 26 , 1981 Page 3 <br /> Jeanne Mabusth, Zoning Administrator, reviewed VARIANCE <br /> with the City Council the request of Alden Anderson, 1900 Shoreline Drive <br /> 1900 Shoreline Drive , for a variance , dated #635 <br /> October 23 , 1981 . Alden Anderson <br /> Mr. Anderson was present . <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to request <br /> staff to draft a resolution to deny the application <br /> for a variance of Alden Anderson, 1900 Shoreline <br /> Drive, per the Planning C�mmission recommendations of <br /> July 20 , 1981, setting forth the reasons: 1) lack <br /> of demonstrated hardship; 2) no sanitary sewer avail- <br /> able ; 3) insufficient area; 3) insufficient width. <br /> Motion, Ayes (4 ) - Nays (0 ) . <br /> Jeanne Mabusth, Zoning Administrator, reviewed with SUBDIVISION <br /> the City Council the request of John McCallum, 3898 3898 Cherry Avenue <br /> Cherry �venue , for a metes and bounds subdivision, #640 <br /> dated October 21, 1981 . John McCallum <br /> Mr. McCallum was �resent . <br /> Butler moved, Hurr seconded, to adopt Resolution RESOLUTION #1331 <br /> #1331, A Resolution Approving A Metes And Bounds 3898 Cherry Avenue <br /> Subdivisian And Lot Line Rearrangement For John D. <br /> McCallum. Motion, Ayes (4 ) - Nays (0 ) . <br /> Jeanne Mabusth, Zoning Administrator, reviewed VARIANCE <br /> with the City Council the r�quest of Michael 2710 Walter ' s Port Lane <br /> Pluhm, 2710 Walter ' s Port Lane , for a variance . #655 <br /> Michael Pluhm <br /> Mr. Pluhm was present; also present Richard <br /> Hassel, attorney representing Mr. Hartman, 2709 <br /> Walter 's Port Lane . <br /> Mr. Hassel stated that he wished to be on record <br /> opposing the variance of Mr. Pluhm' s for his client, <br /> Mr. Hartman. <br /> Butler moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, that the <br /> hardcover variance to Ordinance 34 . 202 be approved <br /> for Michael Pluhm, 2710 Walter ' s Port Lane, based on <br /> the hardships enumerated on page 2 of the Zoning <br /> Administrator ' s memo dated October 23 , 1981; that the <br /> remains of the boathouse constructed within the 0-75 ' <br /> lakeshore setback area shall be removeci before a <br /> certificate of occupancy is .issued; such agreement <br /> to be signed-off by Mr. Pluhm on a resolution stating <br /> that if the subdivisian is created, that an open space <br /> easement will be granted to the City preventing a <br /> second residential structure being built on this lot, <br /> excluding the location of the tennis court and driveway, <br /> and in addition, wt-iether or not the subdivision is <br /> approved, the drainage problem in the rear will be <br /> improved, subject to review by staff and the City <br /> Engineer. Motion, Ayes (4 ) - Nays (0 } . <br />
