REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, JULY 13 , 1981 Page 3 <br /> A memorandum to the Physical Development Committee PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT* <br /> from Bob Mazanec dated June 24 , 1981 was presented REVIEW - Bob Mazanec <br /> to the City Council. (Information only) <br /> Hurr moved, Hannah seconded, to approve the COMPREHENSIVE PLAN* <br /> letter from Senator George S. Pillsbury George Pillsbury Letter <br /> concerning Orono ' s Comprehensive Plan <br /> dated June 22 , 1981 . Motion, Ayes (4 ) - <br /> Nays (0) . <br /> Mrs. LaDean McWilliams , 1130 Willow Drive , PUFiLIC COMMENTS <br /> questioned the City Council regarding the <br /> closure of Willow Drive item not being on <br /> the agenda for this evening 's meeting. <br /> Acting Mayor Butler informed her that in view <br /> of the importance of this matter, it would be <br /> proper to have a full Council consider the <br /> issue and to act on it at the next meeting. <br /> Acting Mayor Butler stated that until this <br /> morning, when Councilman Paurus was informed <br /> that his meeting out of town was cancelled, <br /> there would have been only three Council <br /> members present tonight. <br /> Another resident in the audience stated that <br /> she was upset over a letter identifying her as <br /> a signer on a petition to close Willow Drive , <br /> when, in fact, she had not signed ar�y petition. <br /> It was explained that the letter in question had <br /> been sent in error to all persons on the mailing <br /> list and not just the signers of the petition, due <br /> to the fact that the meeting date had been changed <br /> from July 13 to July 27, 1981, for action by Council <br /> on the Willow Drive closure . <br /> Councilmember Hurr requested sta.ff to mail a letter <br /> of apology to the persons who had receivcd the <br /> letter in error . <br /> Hurr moved, Hannah seconded, to adopt Resolution RESOLUTION #1289* <br /> #1289 , A Resolution Approving A Conditional Use 2160 Wayzata Boulevard <br /> Permit For Gary Luchsinger And William Wear For Bill Wear Restaurant <br /> A Restaurant Located In The Orono Shopping Center <br /> Building At 2160 Wayzata Boulevard. Motion, <br /> Ayes (4 ) - Nays (0 ) . <br />
