I want the <br /> beach area to remain as it is . <br /> William Moeller, 5200 Bartlett Boulevard, Mound, <br /> swimir,ing instructor : The problem is uncontrolled <br /> dogs and parking problems. <br /> Deborah Kullberg, 1736 Shorewood Lane, Mound, Director <br /> water Activities : The dock design should be changed <br /> from an L to a T design. Buoys should be extended <br /> around the swimming area. A phone and beach rules <br /> readily available should be installed. The program <br /> now does have a paid life-guard present during <br /> swimming lessons. <br /> Cindy Lynn, 1550 North Arm Drive : I believe there is <br /> a certain crowd causing problems at the beach area. <br /> Mayor Van Nest: If residents would furnish license <br /> numbers of cars causing problems, the police would <br /> respond immediately. <br /> Bob Anderson, 3843 Cherry Avenue : We want the beach <br /> area to be kept open. <br /> Don O'Reilly, 3928 Cherry Avenue : We need this type <br /> of recreation. Closing the beach is not acceptable. <br /> We want the beach to be kept open and the facilities <br /> improved as they now exist. <br /> Linda White , 3908 Cherry Avenue : Our concerns are : <br /> parking, emergency vehicle access, and controls at beach area. <br /> Kelly Dobbs, 1535 Minnie Avenue : We want the beach area <br /> kept open. <br /> Mayor Van Nest: We need the residents to work together <br /> and help enforce rules and regulations. We need your <br /> complaints when problems occur . <br /> After all persons present had an opportunity to be heard, <br /> Mayor Van Nest closed the public hearing at 8 : 10 P.M. <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to direct staff and <br /> the Park Commission to review the Sandy Beach area and <br /> enter this matter on the April 27 , 1981 Council agenda <br /> for Council action.
