The <br /> City of Orono does not want the road for several reasons, among <br /> which are: <br /> l. The roadway is not built nor has it been maintained to <br /> City standards. <br /> 2 . The roadway has never been nor is it now, part of the City ' s <br /> street system or extension, thereof. <br /> 3 . The roadway is not part of Orono ' s proposed street system <br /> as set forth and required in Orono ' s Comprehensive Land <br /> Use Plan pursuant to State statutes. <br /> 4 . The City never accepts for public purposes streets of this <br /> nature. <br /> 5. A copy of my letter to property owners requesting their <br /> participation was not acted on by the residents nor was <br /> the resolution passed by Hennepin County accepted by the <br /> City of Orono, which was communicated to Mr. Bennyhoff <br /> in 1976 . <br />
