<br /> at 10 : 10 P.M. and returned at 10 : 20 P.M.
<br /> Glenn Cook, City Engineer, reviewed his letter COST PROJECTION
<br /> with the City Council concerning the water system, Long Lake Area
<br /> Long Lake Water District, dated May 29 , 1980 ,
<br /> which states: _
<br /> "The estimated cost for preparing a preliminary
<br /> report on the Long Lake Water District is $1,500 .
<br /> The report would review alternates for supplying
<br /> water to the area and provide recommendations. "

<br /> Council Meeting - June 2 , 1980
<br /> Paurus moved, Hurr seconded, to approve the
<br /> cost of $1, 500 for a preliminary report on the
<br /> Long Lake Water District. Motion, Ayes (3) -
<br /> Nays (0 ) .
<br /> Mayor Van Nest reported on the successful Town TOWN MEETING REPORT
<br /> Meeting held May 22 , 1980 at the Minnetonka Center
<br /> of Arts & Education.
<br /> Hurr moved, Paurus seconded, to send letters to
<br /> the participating Cities thanking them for their
<br /> participation in the Town Meeting, recommending
<br /> the continuation of a yearly Town Meeting on a
<br /> rotating basis. The Steering Committee would
<br /> consist of the four Mayors : Orono, Long Lake ,
<br /> Minnetonka Beach, and Wayzata. Motion, Ayes (4) -
<br /> Nays (0) .
<br /> Mayor Van Nest discussed the public information CRYSTAL BAY POST
<br /> meeting by the Postal Department at the City OFFICE
<br /> Council Chambers Wednesday evening, May 28 , 1980 .
