It was our understanding that <br /> the action taken by the Waste Control Commission• would, in part, <br /> modify the Preferred Plan as transmitted to us by letter dated <br /> March 26, 1980, as it pertains to the Maple Plain Sewage Treatsnent <br /> Plant. <br /> • Our understanding of the modified Preferred Plan that was adopted <br /> by the Commission was that phosphorus removal equipment and filters <br /> would be installed at the Maple Plain Sewage Treatment plant as <br /> a priority A item during the 1981 construction season. Further, <br /> we understand that Mr. Dougherty' s recommendations as adopted by <br /> the Commission, was that an I & I study should be conducted on the <br /> Maple Plain sewage collection system and that Maple Plain should <br /> make the necessary corrections to eliminate the excessive infiltration <br /> and inflow at the earliest possible date. We further understood <br /> that the plant operation would again be reviewed in 1986 as part of <br /> the priority B items of the 201 Facilities plan to determine what <br /> further action would be necessary in regard to the Maple Plain sewage <br /> treatment plant. j�e understand that one of those options to be <br />
