REGULAR tiEETIN� OF THF OROi10 COUNCIL, OCmOBLR 30, 1979 Paqe 28 <br /> �lenn Cook, Cit�� �nc�ineer, presented the follo�ving RIN� ROUTE CONSTRUCTION* <br /> letter to the City Council regarding the rinq LETTER <br /> route road that was mailed to Buffalo Biturlinous <br /> October 23, 1979 : <br /> "I�ennepin County has given permission to install the <br /> culvert crossing of County Road 6 at station 2+50 <br /> provided the work is completed ��ith the following <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. Construction to be completed bet�aeen 9 : 00 A.P4. <br /> and 3: 00 P.P4. <br /> 2. One lane of traffic must be maintained at all <br /> times. <br /> 3. Signing in accordance with Psanual on Uniform <br /> Traffic Devices. <br /> 4. IIituminous surfacing be replaced during the <br /> same day. <br /> The schedule is for the work to be cor*►pleted on <br /> Thursdav, October 25th. If there are an_y changes <br /> from this schedule, please contact this of_fice <br /> imriediately such that v�e can notif_�� the County. <br /> ��le have enclosed a diagram indicating the signing <br /> required. If you have any questions, please <br /> contact this office. " <br /> End of letter - <br /> Council P4eeting - October 30, 1979 <br /> Butler moved, Hurr seconded, to approve the letter <br /> to Buffalo Bituminous from Glenn Cook dated <br /> October 23, 1979. Piotion, Ayes (5) - tJa��s (0) . • , <br /> Glenn Cook, City Engineer, reviewed the ring RIN� ROUTE CONSTRUCTION <br /> route construction progress commenting that the <br /> contractor was not adhering to the contracted <br /> schedule and it �aas his concern that the paving <br /> might not be completed according to the completion <br /> date. <br /> P4ayor Van Nest requested City Administrator Dick <br /> Benson and Glenn Cook to inform the contractor <br /> that the project was held up by the contractor � <br /> leaving the project for three and one-half weeks <br /> this sumi-ier when weather was ideal and that the <br /> City Council exPects the project to be comnleted <br /> on schedule. <br />
