Side yard variance Required: 30 ' Proposed: 10. 8 ' Variance: 19. 2 ' - 660 The Huber variance anplication has been sub�ect to the same reviewinc� process as the two �revious variance applications to the moratoriurl: #501, Gerald Gustafson, setback variance for baserment ' addition and #503 , Henry Schrtitz, setback variance for detached garage. The Hubers propose an addition with two bedrooms and a bathroom reRuiring a side yard setback. This reviewing nrocess involves r2ichael �affron, Septic System Insnector, � inspecting each site plan to assure that adec�uate area remains f_or septic expansion, either additional area to expand existing system and/or adec�uate area for an alternate svstem. The intent of the septic code is to preserve on both new and existinQ lots enough area to handle all future sewage treatment needs in the unsewered area. P�ichael �affron has detailed this application of the septic code in his memo dated September 19 , 1979. The Fiubers did not have enough area to satis_fy both the addition and the septic code' s demands. Our advice was to acc�uire additional land from the neighboring property owner. Gaf_fron' s meno of September 24 , 1979 reviews the effects of this acquisition on both the Huber' s a��lication and the neighbor' s property.
