Harrington: , <br /> Enclosed please find a draft of our prelir_iinary engineering report <br /> for the City of Medina, P4edina-Mornin_qside area sanitary sewer <br /> and an agreer►ent as you rec�uested in your letter dated Auc�ust 13, <br /> 1979. <br /> In reviewing ��our letter of August 15, 1978 , it states that the <br /> rietropolitan Council requested the following information before <br /> they would cor.�plete their revie�a of Orono' s Comprehensive Sewer <br /> Plan: <br /> l. Orono should further investigate the Metropolitan jdaste Control <br /> Comr►ission Alternative S�aste r'Ianagerlent Study. <br /> 2. Orono should include a project to service the Hackberry Hills <br /> area. _ <br /> It appears that the Alternative I4aste Management Study does not <br /> include dense areas in Orono that could be classified as future <br /> problem areas. �ae have been inforr.ied that assistance is not <br /> available to us in Orono, but the Medina-Piorningside are� does <br /> qualify. <br /> In reviewing condition #2, we request your support in finalizing <br /> the proposed sewer construction to the �Sedina-Morningside area <br /> which will also satisfy the Hackberry Hi.11s problem. <br />
