Alan Olson, City Planner, presented the City FIRE CODE A1�1ErdDrSENTS <br /> Council with a memo concerning fire code amendments <br /> dated August 21, 1979 , which states: <br /> On June 12, 1979 , a moratorium was ordained that <br /> prohibits new flar.imable liquid tank installation <br /> on residential property. This is due to expire <br /> on September 12 , 1979. <br /> Without further action, the adopted fire code <br /> standards will then be applicable throughout <br /> Orono. These set standards for proper tank design, <br /> venting, dispensing, and minimal setbacks based <br /> upon capacity.
