The total inspection and <br /> repair costs arnount of $15, 710. 14. <br /> In preparation of the 1979 budc�et, $6 , 000 was <br /> allocated for the inspection leaving a balance <br /> of $9 , 710 that will have to be a s�ecial aPnropriation. <br /> That amount can be borrowed from the Sewer Operating <br /> Fund and paid back over a five-year period with an <br /> interest rate of 6g . The average yearly payrlent, <br /> interest included, will be $2 , 300. <br /> �9e also anticipate accumulating monies for the <br /> next scheduled inspection (in 1984) at a rate <br /> of approximately $2 , 300 a year in the water <br /> o�erating budget. Motion, Ayes (4) - P7ays (0) . <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the POLICE DEPARTNiENT <br /> City Council that due to the retirement of VACANCY* <br /> Officer Dressel, the urgency of replacing him <br /> for t?�e sur.u�er season, and the Possibility of � <br /> not serving Long Lake next year, we are looking <br /> for a person to fill Mr. Dressel ' s position with <br /> the possibility of a lay-off next ��ear. <br /> �9hen we advertised for the position filled bv <br /> P:arc Fritzler, we had 23 applicants. Out of <br /> the 23, we have five available, two with experience, <br /> one is certified, one is eligible after testing. <br /> (Continued) <br />
