The dollars involved ar.iount <br /> to $1, 497. 58. At this point, it is highly unlikely <br /> that any will be presented for payr.tent. Piotion, <br /> Ayes (3) - Nays (0) . <br /> Dick Benson, City Adriinistrator, presented "the WESTERN HENNEPIN COUNT`_ <br /> City Council with a letter frori the �9estern PIONEERS ASSOCIATION <br /> Hennepin County Pioneers Association, Inc. , Donation <br /> dated January 29, 1979, which states: <br /> "��e wish to acknowledge receipt of your letter <br /> of January 25 and relative to the support of the <br /> �9estern Hennepin County Pioneers Association. <br /> We are most grateful for your past support and - <br /> doubly so, because of your intention to continue <br /> the same this year. . <br /> In view of this, please consider this letter, not <br /> a bill, but a staternent requesting the allocation • <br /> of $500 from the City of Orono. Said monies to <br /> go toward the perpetuation of the Western Hennepin <br /> County Pioneers Association, thus preserving . the <br /> culture and history of this area. <br /> � <br /> We are pleased that we were able to be of help in <br /> the publication of your Orono Newsletter.
