Additionally, we would point out that since its inception the marina has clearly expanded�tits operations. Therefore, the station is not the only �er�mant . No. 40: Motor fiiel is motor fuel, regardless who pumps it, and can y and pop have clearly been sold on this site in the past . � Therefore, it is overbroad and sweeping to say that the referenced application is an expansion of the historic use of this property. To be accurate it should be reflected that the sale of milk, . bread, beer, ice, and ice cream would be an expan$ion of the historic use of this property. No. 41: Is this true? Would not such combined uses in a B-1 area with a conditional use permit for motor fuel sales be con- sistent with the ordinances? Also, is not the North Shore Union 76 located at the junction of Hwy. 51 and 135 in the City of Orono, and does it not combine and advertise the sale of motor fuel and ice cream and hot sandwiches (snacks) and bait and the • like? . No. 42: We respectfully submit that gas stations in and of t emselves , unlike theatres, marinas , or other sources of recreation and aimisement do not generate traafic.
