<br /> Mr. Tom Kuehn, Finance Director, presented the DISEASED TREES REMOVAL
<br /> City Council with a memo concerning diseased tree COSTS
<br /> rernoval costs to be assessed dated September 22, 1978 ,
<br /> which states:
<br /> In the past two years of the diseased tree program, •
<br /> the City of Orono has had two instances where the
<br /> homeowner has been unable, or has refused, to remove
<br /> a diseased tree on his property. In these instances,
<br /> � he City has contracted with outside tree removal firms
<br /> for the removal of these trees. At the Council meeting
<br /> on Tuesday, September 26, 1978, I will present a
<br /> resolution providing for the assessing of the removal
<br /> costs against the properties involved. (Continued)
