It is a cooperative project between <br /> Suburb� Caa�nmity Services & [�7est Hennepin I��ntal Health Center, which provides a <br /> coiz�ity based service to help Se�ic�rs cope with a wide spectnr_► of problens that <br /> are special to only Seniors. The project cotmselors deal witn proble�s ranging <br /> from the crisis i�di.ate need situation to one �•�hich �hances h�jan dev�lop��ent <br /> pot�tial. <br /> The history and specifics of this proj ect g�es back to 1975 when initial research <br /> faimd that r_�rry s�iors in this area were experi�cing develo��ental life crisis <br /> caused by role change with significant loss. This in �y cases, means s�rvice <br /> crisis probla,�s for the se�ior and hi.s fa�nily.
