P�iotion, Ayes (3) - <br /> Nays (0) . <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, inforried the APPOINTMENT <br /> City Council that the City of Orono advertised Jean Mabusth <br /> for several weeks for an Assistant Building & <br /> Zoning Administrator. Of the candidates inter- <br /> viewed, Mrs. Jean Mabusth, 2785 A'iorningside Road, <br /> Long Lake, has met our qualifications and it is <br /> my recommendation that she be appointed to the <br /> position effective September 5, 1978, at a starting <br /> salary of $15,000 per year. Jean is presently <br /> employed by the City of Medina as their Planning & <br /> Zoning Adri�nistrator and has worked well with us <br /> on cooperative projects during the past year. Her <br /> experience working with Medina residents in adopt- <br /> ing comprehensive plans, subdivisions,regulations, <br /> and septic ordinances, which incorporates philosophy <br /> sinilar to ours, is very impressive. Her ability <br /> to communicate and work with citizens parallels <br /> the qualifications required of a person to fill <br /> this position. Jean was very impressed with our <br /> meeting with the Planning Commission Thursday night <br /> and is looking forward to joining our staff. <br /> Butler moved, Pesek seconded, to appoint Mrs. Jean <br /> Mabusth as Orono' s Assistant Building & Zoning <br /> Administrator, effective September 5, 1978 at a <br /> starting rate of $15, 000 per year.
