REGULAR PiEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, JUNE 29, 1978 Page 23
Also, the various funds are grouped by type of 1977 ADDIT
fund. There are also other changes and additions (Continued)
which I feel are an improvement over past reports.
Having reviewed the contents of the report and
finding no material errors, I recommend that -
the attached audit bill in the amount of $2, 416
be approved for payment as submitted. This amount
is within the $2, 420 proposed to the City by the
auditor in November, 1977.
Council Meeting - June 29, 1978
Butler moved, Massengale seconded, to approve
the 1977 audit and authorized the payment of
$2 , 416 to Perrill A. Hansen, C.P.A. Motion,
Ayes (5) - Nays (0) .
The attached letter from the Minnesota Pollution ORONO-LONG LAKE
Control Agency to r'Is. Barbara Lukermann, IPITERCEPTOR
Chairwoman of the Metropolitan Waste Control
Cor.uaission, dated June 12, 1978 , was received
concerning the Orono-Long Lake Interceptor.
Letter - Pages 24-26
Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to table METRO TRUST FUNDS
the P'Ietro Trust Funds Resolution until the next
regular Council meeting. Potion, Ayes (5) -
Nays (0) .
Dick Benson, City Aciministrator, presented"_the DAYTOri PARK PROPERTY
City Council with a memo from John Gerhardson,
Public Works Coordinator, concerning the
Dayton property dated May 16, 1978, which states:
If the Dayton property is to be accepted by the
City and if sometime in the future it is to be
considered as a swimming beach, the following
items must be considered:
Removal of all existing buildings
One single family dwelling
One beach house
Approximate cost: $2,500
Because the streets in the vicinity, East Long
Lake Road and Old Long Lake Road, are narrow
with no shoulders, those streets must be posted
"P10 Parking" within a reasonable distance of the
property.
Approximately twenty signs and posts: $280
Installation: $120 (Continued - Page 27)
