Mr. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered SUBDIVISION <br /> into the record the request for a subdivision of 2227 & 2229 Shadywood Rd. <br /> 'illiam Taylor, 2227 & 2229 Shadywood Road, #366 <br /> �ated June 15, 1978, which states: William Taylor <br /> Present were Mr. & Mrs. Taylor and their attorney, - <br /> Allan Quello. Also present was Mr. Bomstein who <br /> indicated desire to clear title so he could sell <br /> the property. Mr. Quello noted that the metes <br /> and bounds sale from Taylor to BoMstein was ' <br /> made two years ago after discussion with the City <br /> Attorney and Zoning Administrator (who both noted <br /> the requirement of Council approval of subdivision <br /> requests) but prior to actually filing an application <br /> which was not done until March 14 , 1978. <br /> The City Attorney noted that the consequences of <br /> separating the property would be perpetual occupancy <br /> of small lots whereas the present non-conforming <br /> use would be terminated should one building be <br /> destroyed. He suggested that possibility of a <br /> covenant in the chain of title whereby the City " <br /> would specifically remove the right to rebuild <br /> upon future loss of one building. <br /> Council tabled the application instructing staff <br /> to provide CouncilMembers with a file on the <br /> pplication for their review and also requested <br /> �dditional research be done. <br /> Staff Note - June 22 , 1978 <br /> The attached plat map indicates this proposal and <br /> the lot areas of all adjoining parcels.
