Piotion, <br /> Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> Hennepin County Transportation Maps were presented TRANSPORTATION MAPS <br /> to the City Council. <br /> Mr. Jim Olson, City Engineer, informed the City ORONO-MINNETONKA BEACH <br /> Council that the City is in receipt of a letter SEWER EXTENSION <br /> from the Minnesota Pollution Co.ntrol Agency Lafayette Ridge <br /> concerning construction and,operation of a <br /> sanitary sewer extension in Orono and r4innetonka <br /> Beach for the Lafayette Ridge subdivision. <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the ORONO-INDEPENDENCE <br /> City Council that he met several times with Annexation - Ring Route <br /> P�Lr. Joe Schmitt, City of Independence property <br /> owner, whose property is to be annexed to the <br /> City of Orono to provide adequate land for the <br /> ring route. He has agreed to sign letters <br /> agreeing to proposed detachment of described <br /> property. <br /> Mr. Benson also stated that the City of Independence <br /> at their Tuesday night meeting, adopted a resolution <br /> approving detachment and annexation of Mr. Schnitt's <br /> property. <br /> With City Council approval of our resolution, <br /> we will submit all data to the Municipal <br /> Commission for their approval July 10 br 12, 1978 <br /> and we will be on our way to complete plans and <br /> specifications �or said project. <br /> P-sayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #909 <br /> Resolution #909, A Resolution Appr.o�ing The Ring Route - Annexation <br /> Concurrent Detachment From The City Of Independence <br /> And Annexation Into The City Of Orono Of A Certain <br /> Strip Of Land. lyiotion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br />
