Alan Olson, City Planner, presented the City FLOOD INSURANCE <br /> Council with a letter received from the Department STUDY <br /> of Housing and Urban Development, concerning a <br /> flood insurance study, dated April 17, 1978. <br /> Letter - Pages 8-17 <br /> Council Meeting - April 27, 1978 ' <br /> Mr. Olson stated that staff have not had time to <br /> review the recent flood plain maps. <br /> Mayor Van Nest: It appears that potential flood <br /> areas are included in these recent maps that were <br /> not originally presented to us. <br /> Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to instruct staff <br /> to submit a letter to the Federal Insurance <br /> Administration outlining our concerns. Motion, <br /> Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> Mr. Alan Olson, City Planner, informed the City P�IARINA COMMITTEE <br /> Council that the P.Zarina Committee met last week REPORT <br /> and that we do not have any minutes or recom- <br /> mendations at this time. I will enter this on <br /> our next Council agenda. <br /> Pdayor Van Nest moved, Pesek seconded, to table <br /> the Marina Committee report until the next <br /> Council meeting. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> Mr. Jim Olson, City Engineer, informed the City HIGHWAY #12 <br /> Council that the District #5 Engineers have Channelization & <br /> informed him that the proposed lighting and Lighting <br /> channelization for Highway #12 will be completed <br /> during 1979 and they are requesting approval of <br /> the resolution submitted by them approving the <br /> project this evening. " <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Pesek seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #903 <br /> Resolution #903, a resolution approving the Highway #12 <br /> proposed lighting and channelization for High- Channelization & <br /> way #12 to be completed in 1979.
