Councilmer,iber Paurus Nay. <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the DISEASED TREE <br /> City Council that in the past several years, the PROGRAM <br /> City staff has been, with the assistance of <br /> forester, Mr. Gerald Beach, trying to develop <br /> some type of program whereby the cost for removing <br /> a diseased elm tree could be somewhat standardized. <br /> Mr. Beach has researched the possibility of accept- <br /> ing bids whereby one company would remove diseased <br /> elms at a contract price. According to r4r. Beach, <br /> there are several companies that would be interested. <br /> Attached is a sample copy of a bid form. I am sure <br /> that there will be additions and deletions to the � <br /> guidelines on this brief outline of procedures. <br /> �utler moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, to approve <br /> �he diseased elm tree program and to refer the <br /> bid form to the City Attorney for his review. <br /> Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, announced the POLICE AUCTION <br /> the Police auction will be held April 29 , 1978 April 29, 1978 <br /> at 9: 00 A.
