Jim Olson, City Engineer, presented the City LAKE IMPROVEr�iENT PROJECT <br /> Council with -his- letter concerning riprap <br /> maintenance work on Lake Minnetonka dated <br /> March 16, 1978, which states: <br /> "Enclosed herewith please find copies of perr,iit <br /> applications from Hennepin County to the DNR for <br /> riprap repair work at the f�llowing locations <br /> on Lake Minnetonka: <br /> Stubbs-P?axwell Bay Channel <br /> Big Island Channel <br /> Hendrickson Public Access <br /> �ae take no exception to the proposed work as <br /> outlined in Lhe application forms and recor,unend <br /> aPproval. However, in the "Detail of Standard <br /> Riprap Construction" prepared by Hennepin County, <br /> there is no mention of a filter blanket under <br /> the riprap. We suggest that a filter blanket be <br /> considered (if it is not already part of the <br /> specifications) .
