One of these conditions was <br /> that all lakeshore lots have 200 f_t. of snoreline. <br /> At the following Council meeting, PZr. Adarns <br /> requested the shoreline lots be approved as sub- <br /> mitted. The Council instructed the applicant file <br /> a fornal variance application for review a�zd <br /> reco�r7er.dation by the Planning Co�:�mission. <br /> Since we are all familiar with the original plat <br /> and application, I feel we could waive the <br /> custoriary work session review and act on the issue. <br /> Exhibit A - Application <br /> Exhibit B - Reduced copy of preliminary plat • <br /> indicating location of variance <br /> request <br /> Planning Comr.iission - February 27, 1973 <br /> The Zoning Adr,linistrator introduced the variance <br /> proposal. Tim Adams , the developer was present. <br /> The Planning Cor.u�ission reviewed the variance <br /> application. After sor,►e discussion, the Zoning <br /> Adninistrator inforried the Planning Commission <br /> that the developer was also requesting approval <br /> of the preliminary final plat, copies of which <br /> were submitted at 4 : 15 P.D2. on February 23, 1978, <br /> (10 copies only) and enclosed in their agenda <br /> packets. Although staff lacked the time to <br /> prepare the necessary reports , Mr. Adams felt he <br /> might be able to explain any questions the Comr�ission <br /> might raise regarding the plat. <br /> The request for the variance from the 100 ft. lake- <br /> shore frontage requirertent raised riany questions . <br /> There was an indication of sorme skepticisn ar,iong <br /> the Cor.unission members. Several motions were rtade, <br /> but no decision was reached, Some of the r►er._tbers <br /> felt a decision on length of lakeshore frontage <br /> was raade at the original public hearing on Decertber 5 , <br /> 1977. At that time, the Planning Commission recom- <br /> mended approval of the preliminary plat subject to 15 <br /> conditions, one of which was that all lakeshore lots <br /> meet the minimum 200 ft. lakeshore requirement. <br /> The condition included altering lot lines in a <br /> manner to provide lakeshore for only two lots . <br /> After further discussion, the Planning Commission <br /> recor.uTiended approval of the variance conditioned on <br /> the following stipulation: (Continued) <br />
