Alan Olson, Assistant Building & Zoning 1978 MARINA LICENSES <br /> Administrator, entered into the record the <br /> following inforr:lation concerning 1978 marina <br /> license applications, dated February 15 , 1978, <br /> which states : <br /> I. Cor�unercial t�arinas. As of this date, five of � _ <br /> the eight cor:unercial marinas have returned <br /> their 1978 applications. �ae have no application <br /> from Gayle' s nor from Minnetonka Boat P�orks. <br /> An incomplete application from Paul' s Landing <br /> was received and returned to him for additional <br /> information on January 5, 1978. <br /> I recor.unend tlnat these five applications be <br /> referred to the Planning Corunission for review <br /> by the marina comr•iittee with instructions for <br /> a reasonable deadline for Planning Commission <br /> recommendations. T suggest PRay 8 as a final date. <br /> II. Joint Use Docks. Al1 three of the annual joint <br /> use applications have been returned to the City <br /> and are attached for your review. <br /> � ti�ayzata Yacht Club: No permanent r.�ooring - 200' <br /> dock plus five off-shore bouys and swiruning area <br /> (note low insurance on lice 8) . <br /> I�Iinnetonka Power Squadron: No permanent mooring. <br /> 20 day use slips along shore. <br /> Foxhill Association: 13 permanent moorings. <br /> (11 slips, 1 lift, 1 bouy) , 96 ' dock; previous <br /> year' s license acknowledged only the 11 slips <br /> (in the same dock layout) even though the lift <br /> and bouy were actually there. <br /> You may caish to consider approval of the joint use <br /> docks now, or you may wish the marina cor�unittee to <br /> review these also. <br /> (Continued) <br />
