REG�,LAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, JA:IUARY 9 , 1978 Page 23 <br /> WHEREAS, one of the duties of the Cit� is to control r4INNETONKA AVENUE <br /> and Maintain all dedicated street right-of-way for ?�ATTER <br /> the benefit and use of the public, and (Continued) <br /> WIiEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of <br /> the City Council the existence of certain private <br /> struct�res erected on and e�ic:roaching within the <br /> platted right-of-�vay of tsinnetonka Avenue, and <br /> WIiEREAS, the owners of said structures have agreed <br /> to remove same at no cost to the City prior to <br /> January 1, 1978. <br /> NOW, TfiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br /> of the City of Orono hereby requests and directs <br /> the following persons to remove their structures <br /> from within the public right-of-way prior to <br /> January 1, 1978, and be it further resolved that <br /> any relocation of said structures onto private <br /> property is subject to all the current building <br /> code and zoning code requirements established <br /> for the protection of the health, safety and <br /> general welfare of the citizens of Orono. <br /> 1. �ir. & Pdrs. Lawrence �uast dated October 26, <br /> 1977, states: <br /> On November 14, 1977, the City Council expects to <br /> adopt a formal resolution in answer to the neighbor- <br /> hood petitions currently before them. This letter <br /> is to advise you ahead of time of the action that is <br /> expected. <br /> l. Water Supply: The City strongly recommends that <br /> a sample of your water be tested for your health. <br /> I have enclosed a testing kit. You can follow <br /> the directions to take a sample and send it to <br /> the State Board of Health for a free analysis. <br /> If you have any questions, I would be happy to <br /> assist you in r_iaking the test.
