As you will recall, several years ago <br /> � a neighboring comm•unity had some problems with <br /> an establishment that featured a room-full of <br /> � machines and alcoholic beverages. We also had <br /> � some problems with teenagers playing machines <br /> and congregating where liquor was served at the <br /> � Stubb' s Bay Marina. <br /> ` At the present time, the department has no such <br /> problems that we are aware of. I feel that the <br /> � ordinance should be enacted now so that it is <br /> . in effect if we need it in the future. <br /> � I further suggest we put an effective date of <br /> December 31, 1977 as posting of notice and a <br /> � public hearing is required. This should be an <br /> annual license.
