<br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the SALARY INCREASE
<br /> City Council that r4ark Stephen Anderson r'Iark S. Anderson
<br /> � started as a probationary patrolman on
<br /> February 28, 1977 and has done very well as
<br /> � a probationary patrolman. He is being evaluated
<br /> • by the sergeants.
<br /> I recor�unend that his Salary be increased to the
<br /> next step from $1, 093. 91 to $1, 132 . 51 per month
<br /> � effective September 5, 1977.

<br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the BUILDING & ZONING
<br /> � City Council that in order to fully utilize the DEPARTP�ENT
<br /> talents available of our Building & Zoning
<br /> personnel, the following changes have been
<br /> ` implemented:
<br /> � P��r. Fienry P�Zuhich, Building & Zoning Administrator,
<br /> will attend all Planning Commission meetings ,
<br /> � working closely with Commission members and
<br /> applicants , being responsible for enforcing the
<br /> U.B.C. , Municipal Code, and Zoning Code.
<br /> � DZr. Alan Olson, Assistant Building & Zoning
<br /> � Administrator, will attend all Council r,leetings,
<br /> working closely with the Council, Cit�Z Administrator,
<br /> � and i��r. 24uhich, beinc� responsible for working on
<br /> special projects, planning, and other building and
<br /> � zoning functions that might occur.
<br /> � �hese changes have been fully discussed amongst
<br /> • staff and all agree that this would be a more
<br /> reasonable approach to our building and zoning
<br /> � functions allowing for a more complete continuity
<br /> among staff, Commission members , and City Council.
<br /> �
<br /> I recomriend P�r. Olson' s salary be increased from
<br /> � $15, 226. 60 per year to $16 , 000 per year, effective
<br /> September 1, 1977.

<br /> � In conjunction with these changes, we are in the
<br /> process of relocating various departments within
<br /> the Administration Building to provide a more
<br /> efficient operation of the Buildinc� & Zoning
