The total concept involves more than twenty <br /> potential storage basins most of which are described in our <br /> � Preliminary Report of June, 1976. <br /> � In our opinion French Lake basin, as one segment of the i�otal <br /> concept, constitutes a project of district-wide benefit in <br /> � its capacity to modify the rate and amount of runoff waters <br /> . into Lake Minnetonka during a period of progressive urbaniza- <br /> tion. This would apply to each potential basin although the <br /> � i;npact of each would depend on its individual drainage area, <br /> cr.�racter and sLoraUe capacity. - <br /> � <br /> The outlet structure proposed for French Lake is a drop inlet <br /> � box around the upstream end of the culvert draining French <br /> Lake under C.S.A.H. No. 51. This would be formed of inter- <br /> � locking steel sheet piles extending approximately ten feet <br /> • out from the roadw-ay e;��bar_km�nt and ten feet across the third <br /> side pa?-all.el to the road��:ay.
