i <br /> � REG�.JLAR ,2�'iEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, AUGUST 22 , 1977 Page 3 <br /> « Henry P4uhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, SUBDIVISION <br /> read into the record the following information 1200 Old Crystal Bay Rd. <br /> �egarding the subdivision request of the 315 East 2640 North Shore Drive <br /> . rant Corporation, 1200 Old Crystal Bay Road, and #261 <br /> Sheldon Jacobs, 2640 North Shore Drive , dated 315 East Grant Corp. <br /> � July 25, 1977, which states: Sheldon Jacobs <br /> � We received a letter from John Winston, who <br /> represents Sheldon Jacobs, which expresses <br /> � their concerns about some of the easements <br /> • r�quested by the City regarding their preliminary <br /> subdivision approval. <br /> � This matter will be before the Council at their <br /> � meeting of August 8 , 1977 . <br /> � Council P��eeting - August 8 , 1977 , <br /> � Tabled on request of applicant. Applicant and <br /> • attorney feel City does not have the authority <br /> to require conservation easement over wetlands <br /> � and 20 ft. access easement along west side of <br /> wetlands area. <br /> � <br /> Staff - August 15 , 1977 <br /> � <br /> • Jim Robin (472-1060) called me this morning. <br /> �ie informed me that Mr. Jacobs or his represent- <br /> � ative approached him regarding revising the <br /> proposed plat soriewhat to possibly eliminate <br /> � the easements as stipulated by Council. <br /> � Mr. Robin is not far.liliar with our ordinances <br /> and procedures, but he wants to be present at <br /> � the Council meeting when the proposal comes up <br /> � for discussion. He requested I place the matter <br /> first on the agenda so he might be present. He <br /> . has a previous commitment to attend a School <br /> Board meeting as he is a member of the School <br /> ! Board. I informed him I would try to list <br /> this matter as the first item of my report. <br /> � <br /> It was also brought to my attention today that <br /> i Mr. Sheldon Jacobs had some communication with <br /> • the Watershed District. It was related to me <br /> that he was informed that the Watershed District <br /> � had no projected schedule on the French Lake <br /> project. He was also of the understanding that <br /> � the Watershed District had more or less concluded <br /> that the proposed dam would provide adequate <br /> � storage if it were located along County Road �51. <br /> � (Continued) <br /> � <br /> � <br /> � <br /> � <br />
