Swan Lake Sediment Removal Proiect Parameters <br /> 1. The initial dewatering project is projected to take 48-36 hours of round-the-clock dewatering <br />� using a pump. <br /> 2. The existing dam has been surveyed and will be monitored throughout the project by the <br /> MCWD for any disturbance. <br /> 3. The amount of sediment to be removed is proposed to be approximately 7,000 cubic yards. <br /> This will result in approximately 700 truckloads of removal. <br /> 4. Sediment removal is limited to those areas shown in the cross-sections in the plan set. <br /> 5. The removal of sediment is proposed to take at least 10 full working days. This work is <br /> proposed to be conducted in weather at or above 20 degrees. <br /> Swan Lake Sediment Removal Proiect Conditions of Approval <br /> 1. The haul route for transporting the spoils shall be: From the Site to Leaf Street south to <br /> County Road 84 west to McCulley Road north to County Road 6 to Hwy 12 west to County <br /> Road 19 north to County Road 50 east to County Rd 116 in Corcoran. <br /> 2. The MCWD shall monitor culverts, roads and adjacent properties during the major <br /> dewatering downstream for any adverse affects of the increase of water flow in near- <br /> freezing conditions. <br /> 3. Leaf Street and any subsequent traveled roads shall be cleaned at least daily and care <br /> should be taken to keep any debris from being deposited onto the roads to a minimum. <br /> Orono Public Works department will monitor Leaf Street and County Road 84 to keep mud <br /> and slippery conditions to a minimum. <br /> 4. Property owners downstream from the dam (all the way to Eastlake Street) should be <br /> notified directly by the MCWD as to what to expect with the dewatering. <br /> 5. Property owners along Leaf Street shall be notified by the MCWD as to the increased truck <br /> traffic during the sediment removal. <br /> 6. There shall be a complete rock construction entrance to the site. MCWD shall direct the <br /> instillation silt fence to be placed where appropriate. <br />
