His re- (Continued) <br /> onbilities are sewer and water and he will be <br /> -sponsible to the Public Works Coordinator. <br /> �__ <br /> �On July 25, 1977, Mr. James Gregory was trans- <br /> ferred to the Street Department as a L.E.O. <br /> �There has been other shifting of responsibilities <br /> within the Street Department to allow the Street <br /> r Foreman to make decisions on a day by day basis <br /> �permitting Mr. Gerhardson more time at the top <br /> rather than spinning his wheels with the obvious. <br /> �Needless to say, there have been problems within <br /> the Public Works Department that required immediate <br /> �attention to assure everyone that they understand <br /> their position and responsibilities, their promotions <br /> �and demotions and what is expected of them in <br /> •order to fully implement this change. <br /> �The two Public Works Foremen will be assigned <br /> the following responsibilities within the Public <br /> �Works Department: Mr. Bill Carlson, sewer and <br /> water and other functions when required; Mr. Jim <br /> •Dillman, streets, parks and other functions, when <br /> required; each specifically supervising and <br /> �coordinating the work of a crew, maintaining <br /> �records of time, materials, and equipment used, <br /> ich is part of a total cost accounting system. <br /> � . .
