Noise 2. Dredging which was done two years ago took years to stop affecting her beach. Bruce Douglas: Expansion is a matter of perception. Boats will be removed simultaneously with racks being built. We are talking about a practical problem whi�� requires a solution. Ir. Larry Hork: I will take slips out of one side �f the lagoon and construct a walkway there. Councilmember Massengale: Orono has to determine how a staging area works in reference to slips in � the lagoon. � Bruce Douglas: We want to experiment with the • staging area for boats in the lagoon. � Larry Hork: I will agree to an experiment in boat slips. � Mayor Van Nest noted options of the Council at this time, they are: � l. Deny by resolution 2. Redraft agreement. � Mayor Van Nest moved, Pesek seconded, to hold a special Council meeting and Public Hearing on Monday, July 18, 1977 at 7: 00 P.M, to discuss the proposed agreement and instructed staff to work with the North Shore Drive Marina in redrafting the agreement with final action at the July 25 , 1977 ^.ouncil meeting.
