Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) .
' •
` Henry Muhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, BUILDING CODE ORDINANCE
read into the record his letter to Mr. Bruce
• Malkerson, City Attorney, concerning an amend-
• ment to plumbing, mechanical, and building codes,
dated June 30, 1977, which states:
I am enclosing a draft of the ordinance amendment
relating to adopting the current State Building
and Plumbing Codes. I am adding the mechanical
• code which I would like to start enforcing this
year also.

I checked the copy of Minnetrista' s code adoption
ordinance you sent me. I would just as soon keep
 our draft as is because Chapters l, 2, 3, & 4 of
the UBC cover most of the regulations singled
out in Minnetrista' s ordinance sections 53. 020
through 53. 110. I also agree with the State
• regulations of prefabricated buildings, so I
• would not want to exclude Sections 301, 302 and
303.
 End of letter
•
Council Meeting - July 11, 1977
•
Mayor Van Nest moved, Paurus seconded, to hold PUBLIC HEARING DATE
• a public hearing August 8, 1977 at 7: 30 P.M.
