s <br /> OROrdO COUNCIL MEETIPdG HELD FEBRUI�RY 14, 1977 Page 37 <br /> Henry Muhich, IIuilding & Zoning Administrator, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> stated that the Good Shepherd Parsonage, 2466 2466 Dunwoody Avenue <br /> � Dunwoody Avenue, is requesting a renewal of the #225 <br /> original conditional use permit approved by Good Shepherd Parsonage <br /> Council August 25 , 1975. At that time� the . <br /> Council suggested this be returned for review <br /> and renewal after a year' s operation. Although <br /> this condition was not part of the motion in <br /> the minutes, the Council was concerned because <br /> of the intended public use of a private access <br /> road. <br /> This application varies a little from the <br /> previous one. The application approved in 1975 <br /> notes the proposed use as a Daytir.ie Activity <br /> Center. The current application indicates the <br /> � proposed use as educational facility and program <br /> for the developmental delayed. <br /> The enclosed sketch shows a proposed parking <br /> � area and driveway located on the church property <br /> with access from the church parking lot. This <br /> would eliminate excessive use of the private <br /> access road and hopefully eliminate the concern <br /> of other property owners using this private access. <br /> Planning Commission Meeting - February 7, 1977 <br /> � Planning Commission reviewed proposal - no one <br /> present objecting to proposal - no letter of <br /> objection on file. Agreed extended driveway <br /> and walkway was improvement to previous <br /> proposal which limited access through private <br /> road only. Showed some concern with proposed <br /> expanded educationai facility in parsonage in <br /> residential area. <br /> The Planning Commission felt the revised proposal <br /> was an improvement to previous request so recommended <br /> approval subject to limiting use of private access <br /> road to emergency and delivery vehicles only. <br /> 2�assengale moved, Butler seconded, to approve the <br /> conditional use permit renewal for the Good <br /> Shepherd Parsonage, 2466 Dunwoody Avenue, subject <br /> to: <br /> l. Renewal in one year <br /> 2. As per all Planning Commission recommendations <br /> 3. Delivery of handicapped children <br /> 4. Road and parking lot construction to be corapleted <br /> by August 1, 1977 <br /> 5. i�4ain access fror;t church <br /> Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> � <br />
