Sent memo <br /> o Finance Department requesting status as they (Continued) <br /> appear in Finance Records. Copy of r�emo enclosed. <br /> � Response from Finance Department is �aritten below <br /> my memo. I do not know exactly what it means <br /> � except that it appears only one unit has been <br /> charged to entire parcel. I will check this out <br /> � in other department record� when I finish upcoming <br /> Planning Commission agenda. <br /> � <br /> • If it is true that there is only one unit charge <br /> on property, I believe we could reconsider the <br /> + division or add a second unit charge. <br /> � Staff - January 13, 1977 <br /> � House location and drainage plan approval report <br /> • received from engineer today. <br /> � Staff - January 14, 1977 <br /> � After reviewing the sewer status, the Zoning <br /> Administrator discovered the property was not <br /> � assessed for two sewer charges. Attached are copies <br /> of two reports made to the City Administrator <br /> � �xplaining the sewer assessment situation as oppcsed _ <br /> • co what the owner had stated at the public hearing <br /> of June 8, 1976 , noted in his earlier application <br /> � made in March, 1974. <br /> � Council Meeting - January 24, 1977 <br /> r The Zoning Administrator informed the Planning <br /> . Commission that Council had approved this sub- <br /> division; however, after reviewing reports received <br /> � from staff concerning the sewer status, Council <br /> suggested this application return to the Commission <br /> � for their reconsideration based on the new evidence <br /> presented. Original application made 2-3 years <br /> � ago indicated two sewer charges were assessed to <br /> the property (this statement was noted on the <br /> � application and signed by Mr. Sidwell) . Minutes of <br /> . the June 8, 1976 meeting also indicate payment of <br /> two sewer charges as one of the hardships demonstrated <br /> � by Mr. Sidwell. <br /> � Mr. Sidwell and his attorney were present. It is <br /> their feeling that they made every effort to comply <br /> � as required and have relied on the action of the <br /> � Planning Commission and Council. The mistake was <br /> found after final approval. To deny on this <br /> � technicality would be unfair as information on <br /> the assessment was received from the City. They <br /> � have since gone through the expense of preparing <br /> mylars and hardshells and have sold the property <br /> � as two separate parcels. (Continued) <br />
