Greg Frank met at our City offices to discuss the proposed placement of the Orono-Long Lake Interceptor on - Hennepin County �15, Hennepin County #51, Hennepin County #84 and the Orono Orchard Road. Based upon the information provided through us at that meeting, the concensus was, and is at this writing, as documented by action of the City Council at its May 9th Council meeting, the following concerns; The placement of the interceptor on the Orono Orchard Road six feet , " into the blacktop mat is satisfactory. • On Hennepin County #51 and Hennepin County �84 , the proposed placement of the interceptor in these areas appears to be the most reasonable when considering the safety, health and welfare of the resdients and the apparent attempt to not destroy all trees along the route. On Hennepin _County �15, starting at a point three hundred feet west of the intersection of the Orono Orchard Road to the intersection of Hennepin County #51, there are very deep concerns as noted to your engineer, Mr. Lyle Swanson, which are as follows : l. The proposed placement of the interceptor outside of the blacktop mat, which lies adjacent to the lake. 2. Silting of foreign material and matter into Lake Minnetonka. � 3. Loss of trees and natural ground cover.
