The District has not <br /> obtained an opinion from their legal department <br /> � to determine if the ��latershed District can negotiate <br /> �with one municipality on this type of requeste <br /> It should be noted that the 6�latershed District <br /> �by petition of property own�rs on French Lake <br /> are considering water levels and flows for the <br /> •purpose of determining what will happen to <br /> rrench Lake when treatment plants are phased out. <br /> �The District has commented that Orono could <br /> �initiate the French Lake storage area now and <br /> sorb the cost with the possibility of being <br /> �_ _ir�ibursed at a later date if the total project <br /> goes ahead.
