ID?TERCEPTOR <br /> �e Result in the placement of an artificial (Continued) <br /> ` obstruction which will restrict the passage of <br /> flood water in such a manner as to increase <br /> � the height of flooding, except obstructions <br /> approved by the Minnehaha Creek 6datershed <br /> � District in conjunction with sound flood plain <br /> management. <br /> • 3o Result in incompatible land uses or which would <br /> • be detrimental to the protection of surface and <br /> ground water suppliesa <br /> � 4o Increase the financial burdens imposec� on the <br /> community through increased floods and overflow <br /> � of water onto land areas within the City or <br /> onto land areas adjacent to T•iinnehaha Creek. <br /> • 5. Be not in keeping with land use Plans and <br /> planning objectives for the City of Orono or <br /> * ���hich will increase or cause danger to life <br /> � or property, <br /> 6. Be inconsistent with the objectives of encouraging <br /> � land uses compatible with the preservation of the <br /> natural land forms, vegetation and the marshes <br /> � and wetlands within the City of Oronoe <br /> 7o Includes development of land and water areas <br /> � essential to continue the temporary �aithholding <br /> ' of rapid runoff of surface water which presently <br /> contributes to downstream flooding or water <br /> � pollution or for land and water areas which <br /> provide ground water infiltration cahich dimishes <br /> � the land area necessary to carry increasecl flows <br /> of storm v�ater following periods of heavy <br /> • precipation, <br /> � Supporting Dataa No permit or variance shall be <br /> + issued unless the applicant, in support of his <br /> application, shall submit engineering data, surveys, <br /> � site plans and other information as the City may <br /> require in order to determine the effects of such <br /> r development on the affected land and water areas. <br /> The applicant shall submit four copies of the <br /> • application and the information.
