The City of Orono approves Alternate A as <br /> � proposed and submitted by the Metropolitan <br /> • Waste Control Commission. <br /> • 2. That the Metropolitan Council and the <br /> Metropolitan Waste Control Commission recognizes <br /> � the statutory duty and responsibility of the <br /> City of Orono to balance the many complex <br /> � factors that comprise a decision to construct <br /> � a local trunk or lateral sewer system, including <br /> � public need, financial ability, desires to the <br /> . residents, effect on development, and other <br /> factors that effect urban growth within the <br /> � City of Orono. <br /> 3. That the above approval is conditioned on <br /> the appropriate environmental protection measures <br /> � being taken in the design, location and construction <br /> of these interceptors. <br /> � <br /> • 4.
