� <br /> ORONO COUNCIL T4EETING HELD APRIL 26, 1976 Page 12 <br /> a T�layor Searles announced that the City of Orono ORONO-LONG LAKE <br /> has received a preliminary engineering report INTERCEPTOR REPORT <br /> �and an environmental assessment statement <br /> concerning the Orono-Long Lake intetceptor <br /> from the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. <br /> � City staff will review its contents and meet <br /> with the Nietropolitan F�aste C�ntrol Commission <br /> � Friday, April 30, 1976 at 2:p0 , P.r4. to discuss <br /> the proposed alternates and re�.�ted costs to <br /> � construct. <br /> t <br /> • Dick Benson, City Administrator, discussed �he LAKE MINNETONKA <br /> GVater Patrol status on Lake Pdinnetonka s�ating �A2ERGENCY CALLS <br /> that when the Orono Police Department is <br /> dispatched to an emergency taking place on the <br /> � lake, the officer is to have County dispatcher <br /> contact taater Patrol, If the situation is of <br /> � non-emergency nature, the officer is to have <br /> the dispatcher contact Water Patrol, If the <br /> � �dater Patrol cannot or will not respond, this <br /> � department will take only what action can be <br /> taken from shore as the Police Department is <br /> � not trained or equipped to respond to wa�er <br /> related calls at this time. <br /> � <br /> Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to instruct City <br /> staff to request the Lake Minnetonka Conservation <br /> District to initiate whatever action is necessary <br /> to encourage the Hennepin County ��ater Patrol <br /> to continue providing services on Lake Minnetonka <br /> for the safety, health and welfare of all its <br /> � userse Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) , <br /> � <br /> Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to waive the WAIVE PENALTY <br /> • penalty for sewer and water of $71,92 for the Mound SchooZ District <br /> + �lizabeth Gardner School.
