Bruce T�ialkerson, City Attorney, informed JURISDICTION OVER LAKE <br /> the City Council that a letter has been forwarded MINNETONKA <br /> � to i�Zra William Goetz, Chief Construction <br /> Operations Division, Department of the Army, <br /> � stating thate <br /> • "This office represents the City of Orono in <br /> �-iennepin County,P7innesota, It has been brought <br /> to our attention that the Corps of Engineers is <br /> � now alleging jurisdiction over Lake 1�Tinnetonka <br /> as a navigable water in the United States. <br /> � Since this is the first time that the City has <br /> ever been aware of the alleged juriscliction <br /> � by your department, we would appreciate <br /> receiving from your office a letter or memorandum <br /> • setting forth the legal basis upon which you <br /> . allege said jurisdiction.
