This beam was placed in
two pous with a cold joirrt located somewhere between 6 and 12 inches from the top of the beam. These
beams span 15 feet between helical anchors. In our opinion this grade beam is adequate to support the loads
indicated by All American Homes that range from 15,000 pounds to 21,300 pounds placed 7 feet on center. In
our opinion, the top steel is not required to support the indicated loads and a beam depth of 18 inches is
sufficient to support the building. According to conversations with all parties, there was somewhere between
24 and 30 inches of concrete provided in the first Ilft of concrete.
Please feef free to share this letter with the local buifding official and others as required. You may contact me
at(320)259-6575 if you have any furt#er questions ar comments regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
R Seavert, P.E.
oject Engineer, Duffy Engineering&Associates, Inc.
Minnesota Regisiration#41971
