Mayor Searles presented Hennepin County' s HENrdEPIPd COUNTY <br /> landscape proposal for their public access LANDSCAPE PLAN <br /> � located on Hennepin County #51. This plan <br /> does provide for the restoration of shoreline <br /> � vegetation, the protection of the lake from <br /> erosion and for impro�ed environmental <br /> � protection at densely used shoreland sites , <br /> while providing for the public health, safety <br /> • and welfare for all citizens on Lake Minnetonka, <br /> . and will serve as a guideline for future <br /> restoration of exposed shoreline throughout <br /> � the lake area. <br /> • <br /> Councilman Norman Paurus reported on status HENNEPIN COUNTY <br /> ' of Hennepin County Transportation Plan stating TRANSPORTATION PLAN <br /> that the next phase was to solidity the <br /> � preliminary plans as submitted. The city <br /> � Council directed the Administrator to request <br /> the Planning Commission to review and compare <br /> +, Hennepin County' s forecasts and report their <br /> findings to the Council at the May 27, 1975 <br /> S Council meeting. <br /> � <br /> Mayor Searles discussed the background MARINA LICENSES <br /> � consisting of plans, data, and information <br /> • that has been submitted by the marinas and <br /> reviewed by the Marina Licensing Committee <br /> � concerning standards required to protect the <br /> health, safety, and welfare of all citizens <br /> � of Orono, while attempting to relieve the <br /> problem caused by the excessively dense use <br /> ! of shorelands.The City Council at this time <br /> conveyed their thanks for everyones cooperation <br /> � in setting forth and accepting guidelines <br /> • for the 1975 season. <br /> • <br /> � <br /> � <br /> � <br /> � <br /> r <br /> � <br />
