Page 3 <br /> � Progress reporto The Village Council instructed ICE ARENA <br /> the Village Administrator to request an estimate <br /> of cost from �Zedalist, Industries, Inc. , Winsor. <br /> Wisconsin, concerning Part 1 & 2 of a three part <br /> feasibility study, outlining market feasibility <br /> • and physical design and cost estimates to <br /> • construct an iCe arena, <br /> � It was emphasized that this by no means indicates <br /> or implies that Orono has the funds for such a <br /> � study or intends to commit themselves to a study <br /> or to construct an ice arena. It was further <br /> • agreed that the ice arena would not be placed <br /> • on any future agenda unless al1 Council members <br /> will be present. <br /> � <br /> � Butler moved, Searles seconded, that Contractor' s CONTRACTOR'S ESTID'lATE <br /> Estimate #5, Northdale Construction in the amount #5 - Northdale Const. <br /> � of $94,505.09, be paid, Motion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0) . <br /> � Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to adopt Resolution RESOLUTION #588 <br /> � #588 opposing Senate File #939, which would allow Opposing SF 939 <br /> the Metropolitan Council to adopt standards and <br /> • criteria for development and land use control which <br /> � would eliminate local control. I�2otion, Ayes (3) - <br /> � Nays (0) . <br /> • P�r. Dave Opheim, Park Commission Chairman, PARK DEDICATION FEES <br /> discussed the need to establish a Park dedi- <br /> � cation fund that would accrue monies from raw <br /> land value fees and previous park budgets. It <br /> � was discussed that Pre�o�:: unused budget funds <br /> could not be accrued from year to year and the <br /> � Park Commission should review Chapter 39e170 <br /> and recommend a more specific park dedication <br /> � fees ordinance. AZrs Opheim will review this <br /> � and report back at a later date. <br /> • Butler moved, L^lelsh seconded, to approve the REVENUE & EXPENDITURE <br /> ' first quarter Revenue & Expenditure Report REPORT <br /> as submitted by the Village Administrator. <br /> � Motion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0) . <br /> � Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to instruct the HENNEPIN COUNTY <br /> � Administrator to draft a letter to Hennepin TRANSPORTATION STUDY <br /> County challenging the categorical zones <br /> � rather than natural VilZage boundaries for <br /> the Hennepin County Traffic Analysis Transportation <br /> � Study, Motion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0) . <br /> � Mayor Searles announCed that the Council will WORK SESSION DATE <br /> � hold a work session at 3a00 P.Pd.
