L Member Brad Van Nest offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has from ' time to time received from the County of Hennepin lists of lands in said municipality which became the property of the State of Minnesota, for non-payment of past real estate taxes; and WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said lists have heretofore been classified by the Board of �County Commissioners of Hennepin Covnty, MinneSota as non-conservation land and the sa1e . � thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners; and � _ . WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request to authorize release for sale of one or more parcels of land described in said lis ts, • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by said City Council, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, that the said classification by said Board of County Commissioners. of each parcel of land described in said lists as non-conservation land be and the same is hereby approved, and that the sale of each such parcel of land be and the same is hereby approved, as follows: . In addition, if Lot Z0, Block 3, Navarre Heights, should still be listed as state land because of tax forfeiture, the City Council specifically approves the sale of said Lot 10 to the purchaser of Lots 8 & 9 according to the condition noted above.
