MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Monday, August 15, 2016 <br />6:30 o'clock p.m. <br />Schoenzeit asked whether the Planning Commission will need to see this again following review by the <br />City Engineer and the Watershed District. <br />Curtis stated any change that should occur would not be substantial and the Planning Commission should <br />not have to see this application again. <br />Thiesse asked if the City has dewatering ordinances in Orono and whether the applicants can install a <br />pool in a low-lying area. <br />Gaffron stated it is not technically a floodplain area and that there should not be anything that prevents it <br />from being constructed. <br />Curtis noted what is in the Commissioners' packets is not the final pool design. <br />Schoenzeit moved, Leskinen seconded, to recommend approval of Application No. 16-3853, Matt <br />and Jennifer Nyquist, 1125 Pine View Drive, granting of a vacation of the easement, subject to Staff <br />recommendations and review by the City Engineer. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />
