. 2..,i ► A
Christine Mattson lI ( V
From: blindgren8@mchsi.com
Sent: Tuesday, August 11, 2015 12:44 PM
To: Christine Mattson
Cc: Stan Straley; Mark Plewka; Sandy Lindgren; Jeanie Revor; blindgren8; Marlene Straley
Subject: Fwd:
Attachments: SplitRailFence.jpg; 20150811_112142.jpg
Christine:
Re: Brent Lindgren 2501 Kelly Ave. Representing the Kelly Cove Homeowners Association (KCHOA).
Attached photos are of the proposed split rail fence and the location between 2507 Kelly Ave. (Fredrickson's)
and KCHOA's property where we would like to install the fence.
The Fredrickson's have stored their snowmobile trailer on our property. They have also put piles of dirt and sod
from their driveway project and pallets of patio blocks from their pool project on our property. It took them a
long time but even after cleaning/removing that, they still left used pop cans, snack wrappers and unwanted
dirt and rocks for us to cleanup. We need to be in the position of preventing their use of our property rather
then us policing them. They know where the property line is because they had to expose it during their
driveway project. I have never heard them say they were sorry or that it witl never happen again.
Fences make good neighbors! We still want to be friendly!
The property line is about 7' to the left of the telephone pole and the City's easement is about 15' from the
edge of the road. We need to put the decorative split rail fence about one to two feet off the property line. We
are proposing to dig 2 post holes, install 2 posts and fill with the same dirt (no concrete, so they are easily
removed if needed). If we have to put the fence outside the 10' drainage and utility easement then that is not
acceptable. We will look at other options like placing "No Trespassing" signs (probably 2). This seems like a
reasonable request compared to the only other option of filling a Property Complaint Form with the City every
time there is a problem.
Thank you!
Brent Lindgren
2501 Kelly Ave.
952-210-9112
.C,'"'0
o",
'' f
4
- o►  o-"'` y;
u ,w r
•
o
1
